I agree with Tad. I really enjoyed writing the first poem for this class. The whole concept of "candy and medicine" made the assignment fun to write. I thought a poem would be pretty hard to create but, it seemed to role right off my tongue. When I began to write around my idea, my poem seemed all mushy. After I was done, I read it aloud and I really did like the sound of it. However, the question "does it make sense to an outsider reader" still lingered through my head.
Hopefully our class will have a couple more assignments like assignment #1 so questions, such as the one above, can be answered.
Also, a word to the wise the poems and reading we had to read this week...They are very confusing and I'm at a all time loss trying to figure them out.
